Today I am interviewing Margo Johnson, a modern day healer. I hope you enjoy learning about Margo as much as I enjoyed interviewing her!
K: Tell us where you grew up, a bit about your upbringing and what you were like as a child?
M: I grew up in St Paul in a pretty typical middle class family. I struggled with self-confidence from a young age, so I would have to admit I was shy and quiet.I loved to sew and create, a great outlet for shy people. My dad was an electrical engineer and he would fascinate with me with stories about how anything was made or how it worked. This sparked my curiosity to live in the world of how and why
K: What did you want to be when you grew up?
M: I had no idea. I went to college in the 70’s when a lot of molds were being broken. I loved math and science, so I started on a degree in biology to see what would unfold.I worked in a plant physiology lab before we had children. Then I took a 38 year detour and helped with the business side of the family business
K: What are the highlights of your journey into adulthood – pivotal moments, important lessons, discoveries about yourself, the world and others?
M: I loved college. A big world opened up and I especially loved being in the University of MN Marching Band – fun and exercise and connections and beer!
I found it rewarding to watch my children learn and grow and then put lessons to use in their lives.
I’ve learned to forgive.I’ve had a few bumps in my road the last couple of years. I was ejected onto a path of growth and discovery, or I should say that is the path I chose.
The biggest lesson I learned lately is ‘What you Focus on Grows’, never stop working on yourself, and if you treat people with love and openness, all will work out.
I’ve learned we are all connected and I that love to learn! I’ve grown into my passion to help people regain their health and freedoms and to live in joy, abundance and flow
K: Do you have any morning/evening rituals that you practice regularly – and why?
M: Every morning I pray and meditate. I feel one is asking and the other is listening. I have a short exercise routine and I never forget my supplements. It gets me grounded and ready for what the day brings.I wind my day down with a bit of sewing or reading and I take a few meditative moments to be grateful for what happened in my day
K: What is your current calling and how are you aligning with it?
M: A few years ago I was in need of a new career. What kept getting placed in front of me was AcuEnergetics, a new modality from Australia. It is an incredibly effective energetic form of healing. It attracts clients willing to look at overcoming their pain and illness from a different direction, one that connects body, mind and emotions (see powerful testimonials below)*
It really appealed to my nerdy side… to my passion for science and learning helping people. The Bode-Pro side of my business is also a big game changer for my clients looking for better health and energy (see powerful testimonials below)*
K: What do you do professionally?
M: My new business is OpenHeart Wellness and it combines two aspects: the healing modality that moves stuck energy and a product that will increase energy. Anxiety, depression, reproductive problems, pain, or diminished function, it’s all about energy.
I recently became an AcuEnergetics Practitioner. I’ve learned we are bioelectrical beings, that pain is stuck energy and lack of function is not enough energy flow. So you can think of me as your body’s electrician.
Using physics and my hands, stuck static charge is released and that in turn restores flow to restore function. This encourages your body to naturally mend. Clients can be surprised to learn that chronic headaches or knee pain can improve after working on points on their toes. These points connect to the part of the electrical system that is causing the pain.
I help clients increase their energy from a cellular level with an innovative product that builds up the cell’s powerhouses. so you feel like your battery is fully charged and gives you more fight for whatever you’re fighting (see powerful testimonials below)*
K: What is the one thing you are most proud of so far in your life?
M: That I stood up to my fears and walked through them.Years ago I overcame some big fears and learned to ride a motorcycle. I put on 4000 fun miles this summer. Today I continue to follow my heart and purpose no matter the criticisms from some. I am a healer
K: What do you want your legacy to be?
M: The world is changing.I want to be there to help people see the next thing – to learn truth.I am there to help banish misconceptions about how our bodies work and how the country works. And what it means to live in joy, abundance and flow
K: What else do you want us to know?
M: I have 4 granddaughters that are the love of my life. I have a ball laughing, creating and playing with them.
As part of restoring people’s health and freedoms, I have loved to educate on the threats we face and how to preserve our freedoms.
I am amazed at what can show up in my life when I surrender to flow and possibilities
