Let's have a party!

February 5, 2018

Is it your turn to host that same annual party or maybe a new, fun event?  With a little pre-planning and pre-emptive action you CAN enjoy some of the ‘partying’ vs. just the ‘hosting’.

Chelsea Lund, the Go To Gal Wedding & Event Planner shared some ‘what’s hot now’ in the world of event hosting.

Chelsea writes, “Take a deep breath and envision this: A Candy bar buffet - beautiful shapes and colors in elegant containers -  centrally located to spice it up yet keep it fun and simple. 15-20 different loose candies, jars, scoops, and Ziploc bags and you’re all set! This main attraction keeps the guests munching all night.”

To add ambiance and fun to your event, Chelsea suggests “add in some fun lit backdrops or Marquee lights and you have the up to date trendy lighting or a great photo booth spot.”

Other ideas Chelsea has are “hiring someone to cook in front of your guests, making wine cork candle centerpieces or putting wheat stalks in mason jars as centerpieces there are so many easy ways to step your party up and make it fun to be a host!”

By proactively having activities and self-serve options for your guests you will WANT to offer to have everyone at your house because you will be joining in the mingling with them.

If you want 100% mingle and fun, hire an event planner and day of event coordinator – not as expensive as you’d expect and not just for the rich and famous!

Envision THIS - No more set up or clean up. No more keeping the food and drinks full and most certainly no more checking the bathrooms every 10 minutes and freaking out someone made a mess. By working with an Event planner you will get in on the fun and enjoy yourself!

Whatever route you take, remember no one expects perfect and it’s about the people not the ‘stuff’.  Happy Partying!
